Rather expensive, but I had a scratch on a bag and the sticker just made it vanish. You could shop around for a better price, maybe someone on Etsy might offer them if you did want to go down the sticker route. I removed a H de L sticker off a bag to check for hardware damage after a couple of years of it being on, and the hardware was still as good as new. Hth
I have bought bags that I thought would me my forever bags only to find out they didn't work for me or that I didn't love using them anymore. Fortunately for me, I am not sentimental when it comes to bags. If I don't use them, they have to go, even if I loose money on them. You can put the money towards other bags, or you can invest the money and recoup your loses that way.

I am looking at the mini rectangles have them on my radar with the medium too but need to go in store and have a serious look at them both and narrow own what is right for me.
I can appreciate this struggle Deb. I try to avoid selling anything too quickly because I do not want seller's remorse. If you're prone to regret, definitely take your time before parting with these. If you need to sell them, that's a different story. If there's no urgency, sleep on it until you are 100% certain that you are finished with them. I believe it's time to let all of these bags GO!!! (Not the Chanel Blue Mini of course). As with all fashion, which includes bags, what we love & are drawn to changes with the seasons. So whether it's clothing, or shoes, or maybe especially with bags for some of us, when we see something that makes our heart sing, we naturally move on. I love the thought that someone else will be SO happy when they open that box & see your Chanel 19 just waiting to be carried & loved again!!
Oh my! I wouldn't let those bags go, especially the Chanel 19! That has a lovely memory associated with it; I think you might eventually regret letting the 19 go....I speak from experience. LOL!
If you can afford it, keep the constance. I had one evelyne 29 for 10 years, and I used it a lot…i bought it for 3k, and it can still easily sell at 1-2k, 10 years later! It definitely hold value much better than some other brands.
The Constance can be worn as a crossbody if you single the strap. You may regret getting rid of any of those bags because 2 1/2 yrs from now you just maybe looking for it and they'll all be so difficult to replace.
I got a mini top handle from Rue Cambon last year, during a girls trip with my besties. But I realise it's not a style I can wear often so I sold it, but I kept my white packaging 😅 I gave the buyer a black box from one of the other bags haha

Don't beat yourself up. It allows you then to put some bags back in your collection that you are excited about! After all, that is what a collection is all about. I have quit a few luxury bags and a house in NYC cause I know what's more important in life than a bag.... I love LV, Chanel, Prada, Gucci...etc and I have all, but I don't just buy a bag, I am very selective when it come to bags. Just my humble and personal opinion.
I think sadly that very few bags are forever bags. Thats why Chanel calls them “classics”. I have bags that I felt were forever and now I havent reached for. I think live with bags are fleeting. And we change. And our tastes change.
I believe you let them go to someone who loved them, cut your losses and find the right bag/s that you love. It is a collection, but I believe in using out bags - otherwise what is the point? Put them on a shelf and look the, keep them pristine and not get the enjoyment? We only live once use your beautiful bags and enjoy them. Of course you will take wonderful care of them, but bags that are worn have little flaws - so what at least you enjoy the bag for a lifetime, why set them on a shelf to look pretty for the future owner? Make memories with your bags and take pictures. When you but again have a checklist of what you want & use it as much as you can, you have earned it.
This is a toughie, Deb. If there is any sentiment attached to a handbag or some other item, it may benefit you to keep them for a while longer (perhaps the Constance?) but if that’s mostly not the case, then consider moving it along. The only one that appears to fit that category is the Denim Chanel 19. I’m hoping that you will be able to make the decisions that are best for you. 😊
I was thinking why don’t you do what Amelia did and send your Constance to leather surgeons in the states have them lengthened the strap. I know you said if you love it you won’t sell it. If that’s the only problem send it for repair and you’ll have your beautiful bag back to love and enjoy again. I’m like you I only do top handle or crossbody.
I tried to convince myself to like a shoulder bag many times. But I just couldn't. it keeps sliding off of my shoulder & I have to constantly hold it. So cumbersome & nuisance.
Bev do yourself a favor and take some great photos of that bag (the Chanel 19), styled, arranged with the beautiful packaging, and find a photo of you and Amelia on that trip. Frame them all up. And then let that bag GO for something youll actually enjoy and won’t be an emotional burden ❤ And no I don’t think it matters how many bags you have! But I have the same issue with the Constance hardware, gorgeous design but a nightmare to keep looking nice!!!
How do you enjoy these bags with flaps? They would drive me nuts. You have to hold them up, and I would just get so frustrated. Are there any luxury bags that don't have a flap?
I have come to the conclusion that I buy two different bags and sometimes clothes as well, depending on these criteria. - 1stcriteria: I find them beautiful and useful to wear all the time; 2nd, I find them very beautiful to sit on a shelf like a painting on the wall. A lot of item I buy using more the 2nd criteria. Everytime I like something, I buy because it is beautiful that I don't care if I will use them or not. And the brands know this only too well. That's why they mass-produce and show the new releases all the time. So, we, people like me, spend thousands on items we don't use and don't know why. When we have to rush out of the door, we pick what is functional independently if it is the most beautiful thing or not. It feels confortable enough, we look nice with it and it works so next time we will pick it again. So, the next time you go out to shop, stop to think twice in these two criteria just to avoid more mistakes or regrets. That's what I tell myself - stop buying with your heart and use more your brains. I hope this can help you as well. Take care.
Mine is Constance 24 so has a shorter strap than the Constance 18. I haven’t tried the 18 yet but I am told it is better cross body length than the 24 x
Unfortunately Dior bags don’t hold their value and right now it’s even worse because of the recent scandal with the canvas bags. I would adore a Dior bag because they’re one of the only designer bags I truly love the designs of, but even a pre loved is out of my price range right now… I’ve a few holidays booked - memories over materials right now. If I were you though I’d keep the Dior bag and treasure it. You could fall in love with it again, and it’s not worth selling for such a loss considering how perfect the condition is!
If you don’t love your bags , sell them. If you would keep them because you might lose some money. That is not the end of the world. Will you be taking them to your grave?

Constance is my most use bag among my h bags.but in size 18 mini. Anyway for the hardware,u can always change it later once it's all scratchEd up

I have two medium Caro bags. They are perfect.
What bothers me about the Caro is the size of the CD-disproportionally looking to the rest of the bag
